AstroVeena is a free Vedic astrology platform built on classical Jyotish principles (BPHS, Muhurta Chintamani, Jataka Parijata) and modern computational astronomy. We believe astrology should be accurate, accessible, and free — not a paywall.

How accurate are the calculations?

We use the Swiss Ephemeris with the JPL DE441 planetary ephemeris from NASA — the same data underlying professional astrology software. Planetary positions are accurate to within about 0.001 arcseconds, which is far below the precision needed for any human birth chart (where birth time uncertainty already swamps ephemeris error by 100×).
