How to read this calendar & sources
A tithi follows the Moon–Sun angle and need not last 24 hours. It can occur at two successive sunrises or fall between them. This calendar shows the tithi at Delhi sunrise, not an automatic fasting or marriage recommendation.
Month headings use the Gregorian calendar. Regional lunar month names and observance conventions can differ. Lunar dates and sunrise are computed with Swiss Ephemeris for 2023–2027. Reviewed festival references currently cover 2026; a blank day does not mean no community observes a festival.
Major festival dates are checked against the official Delhi holiday reference and named regional sources on our festival pages. Sankashti dates follow Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai; they are not calculated from the Delhi tithi shown here. Select a date to see its source. A festival spanning several days appears throughout that period.
