1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and AstroVeena (operated by Rahul Dilip Malwade) ("AstroVeena", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of https://astroveena.com, https://app.astroveena.com and their associated APIs and services.

By visiting our website, generating astrological charts, using the AI Astrologer, or registering an account, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue using AstroVeena immediately.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or use our interactive services independently. If you are under 18, you may use AstroVeena only under the direct supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Description of Services

AstroVeena is a computational Vedic astrology platform offering:

• Janam Kundli Generator: Natal birth chart calculation, 16+ divisional charts (Vargas D1–D60), planetary positions, Lagna, Nakshatras, and Vimshottari Mahadasha/Antardasha timelines.
• Kundli Milan (Matchmaking): 36-Guna Ashtakoot compatibility scoring with Manglik Dosha and Nadi analysis.
• Live Panchang: Daily, monthly, and location-specific Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, Rahu Kaal, Choghadiya, and Hora timings.
• Planetary Transits & Horoscopes: Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly Rashifal calculated from astronomical planetary transits.
• Numerology Calculator: Life Path, Destiny, Soul Urge, and Personality number analysis.
• AI Vedic Astrologer: Chart-aware conversational astrological assistant.
• Downloadable Reports: Export capabilities for personal Kundli and Matchmaking PDF documents.

Our core tools and calculations are offered free of charge, with no required payment methods or hidden paywalls. We also offer optional paid services, described in section 3.

5. AI Astrologer & Algorithmic Content

The AI Astrologer consultation feature and automated horoscopes utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) to synthesize classical astrological rules with your birth chart coordinates:

• Probabilistic Nature: AI models generate responses probabilistically. While prompts are engineered to adhere strictly to Vedic astrology principles, AI responses may occasionally contain inaccuracies, generalizations, or unexpected interpretations.
• Experimental Feature: AI consultations are provided as assistive and exploratory tools. They do not represent human personal counsel.
• Prompt Guidelines: You agree not to submit prompts that are unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or intended to induce harmful actions.

6. User Accounts & Security

You may explore most features of AstroVeena without an account. If you choose to create an account to save birth charts and consultations:

• You agree to provide accurate and truthful information during signup.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and authentication tokens.
• You must notify us immediately at support@astroveena.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in fraudulent activity, security abuse, or violations of these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use Policy & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Automated Scraping & Bots: Scraping, spidering, data harvesting, or automated querying of calculation endpoints without our prior express written permission.
• API Abuse & Rate Limit Bypass: Attempting to circumvent rate limits, launch Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, or overload our computational ephemeris servers.
• Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, reverse-engineering, or attempting to extract proprietary source code or calculation formulas.
• Unauthorized Access: Attempting to bypass Row-Level Security (RLS) or access profiles belonging to other users.
• Malicious Inputs: Injecting malicious scripts, viruses, or harmful payloads into forms or AI chat interfaces.

8. Intellectual Property & Personal License

A. AstroVeena Ownership: All rights, title, and interest in and to AstroVeena—including but not limited to the computational engine, user interface design, logos, graphics, icons (Veena mark), typography, editorial articles, and software code—are the proprietary intellectual property of AstroVeena and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

B. Personal Use License for Generated Reports: When you generate a Janam Kundli or Matchmaking report, AstroVeena grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view, download, save, and print PDF copies of your personal birth chart solely for personal, non-commercial use.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is" & "As-Available")

AstroVeena and all services, calculations, content, and software are provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express, implied, or statutory.

To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, AstroVeena disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy of astrological models, server uptime, or uninterrupted, bug-free operation.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall AstroVeena, its founders, operators, employees, licensors, or service providers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including without limitation damages for loss of profits, loss of data, marital or relationship outcomes, health choices, financial decisions, goodwill, or other intangible losses—resulting from:

• Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the service;
• Any astrological reading, Kundli calculation, compatibility score, or advice generated on the platform;
• Any AI-generated output or interpretation;
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.

Where we are liable in connection with a paid service, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, or any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other consumer laws, that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AstroVeena, its operators, contributors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the platform, or your infringement of any intellectual property or rights of another individual.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Subject to applicable statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived by contract, you agree that the courts situated in Maharashtra, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms or your use of AstroVeena.

13. Modifications & Severability

We reserve the right to revise or modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of AstroVeena following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
